Brewery

The home of Post Brauerei with its various PostBiers is an area covering the Allgäu Alps, the Bavarian and Württembergian Allgäu, the Austrian Vorarlberg, all the way to Lake Constance.

In the days of old, when mail-coaches were the principal means of transport, Post Brauerei of Weiler with its original company building Post was not only a brewery but also a Royal Bavarian Postal Station and, thus, related with the Allgäu and the larger region in a very special way.

This has not changed ever since: The identification with the country and its people, the Bavarian Purity Law for beer of 1516 and the freshness of tasty beers have been the values and landmarks that have governed and directed the art of brewing cultivated over the generations since 1650 in Weiler in Allgäu .

We deliver beer to our customers ex works, with our modern motor vehicles, that replaced the horses and carts. The postilion is the messenger for PostBier, greeting from the yellow lorries or meeting merry people on his way.
